Pee Dee Aquaponics: Sustainable Farming for a Greener Future
To cultivate sustainable agriculture through advanced aquaponics and AI technology, while empowering our community through education, multilingual learning, and cultural preservation, creating a model for agricultural innovation and global citizenship.
Deep in the Pee Dee Region's Hell's Half Acre Community - historically known as Turkey Town - we're starting by transforming a single acre of old family owned land we've held for 200-years into a global hub for sustainable agriculture and cultural enlightenment. As fifth-generation farmers of Native Afro-American Descendant, we're addressing our region's 'Food Desert' status through innovative aquaponics farming.
Our mission extends beyond producing nutritious fruits and vegetables. Using advanced technology and traditional wisdom, we're creating:
A sustainable food production model
Educational opportunities for essential skills
Economic growth pathways for our community
Cultural preservation and enlightenment programs
By combining entrepreneurial spirit with agricultural innovation, we're building a model of sustainable development that honors our heritage while embracing future technologies. Our integrated farming practices demonstrate how small-scale operations can have large-scale impact on food security and community empowerment.
